First Day of Summer Cleanup in Downtown Apalachicola

We’re Kicking off the First Day of Summer with a Cleanup Event

Saturday, June 20, 2020  Time: 8 AM –10 AM

Meeting place: Scipio Creek (Mill Pond Pavilion)
479 Market Street, Apalachicola, FL 32320

Please share with friends and neighbors and plan to join us at this quarterly cleanup as we focus on the following 3 areas:

● Scipio Creek Boat Basin (Mill Pond)

● Franklin Square Playground: Ave L & 6th Street:

● Curbside Beautification Project: 23 & 25 Ave D

Locals and visitors of all ages and skill sets are welcome! Masks and work gloves will be provided and safe distancing guidelines will be followed. The most important thing that you can bring to this event is your energy and ENTHUSIASM to help keep Apalachicola clean and beautiful.  A little time can make a big difference in our small community…

Apalachicola Main Street is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing downtown Apalachicola through sound economic development which promotes our future while preserving our past. The downtown district is defined as Ten Foot Hole (the City Marina) to Scipio Creek, and 6th Street to Water Street.
