Beautification Project on Market Street

Now that autumn has arrived, the leaves will be falling, so let’s get a head start. Each quarter, our Design Committee selects a downtown location that could benefit from a little extra attention. This Saturday, we invite the community to come together and spruce up the outside of The Raney House Museum.

We welcome volunteers of all ages and skill sets. In addition to removing yard waste, there will be a mini crew of volunteers clearing/removing debris along the sidewalk/curb areas; pressure washing the concrete wall, and parking area. If you have an extra shovel or rake, please plan to bring it along. Everything else will be provided; including masks and gloves. We will also ensure that safe distancing guidelines are followed.

The forecast looks fair now, but in the event of rain, the event will be rescheduled for the following Saturday, October 3, 2020.
