Meet War Correspondent Joe Galloway

Joseph L. Galloway, one of America’s premier war and foreign correspondents for half a century, recently retired as the senior military correspondent for Knight Ridder Newspapers. He is co-author, with Lt. Gen. (ret) Hal Moore, of “We Were Soldiers Once…and Young”, which has been called the most significant book to come out of the Vietnam War.

Galloway will be the guest speaker at Apalachicola’s fourth Patriot’s Day benefit on Saturday, April 30th, but on Friday, April 29th, he will sign copies of his book from 3 to 5 PM at Downtown Books.
