Opening Reception at Apalachicola Museum of Art

Over 30 artists who are members of the Artists of Apalachicola Area will display artwork at the Historic Fry Conter House, which is home to the Apalachicola Museum of Art. The artwork will range from all styles and mediums of painting, sculpture, jewelry and craft, creating a unique and diverse exhibit of local artisans.
Two opening receptions will be held, Friday and Saturday, May 6th and 7th. There will be food and wine at the Friday evening reception, and wine at the Saturday afternoon reception. The exhibit will also be open during select daytime hours.

Apalachicola Museum of Art is located within the historic Fry Conter House. It was built in 1845 by Daniel Fry, an illustrious riverboat captain. The Greek Revival style house has been lovingly restored and is an elegant setting for a spring celebration of local artists and their work.
