18th Annual Red, White and Blue Parade on Sunday, July 3rd

Provided by Franklin’s Promise Coalition and the Crew of the Conservation Corps of the Forgotten Coast. At 6:00 p.m., the lineup for the 17th Annual Red, White and Blue Parade will commence at Lafayette Park. The parade’s start time is 6:30 p.m., so grab your bicycles, wagons, golf carts, sneakers, or whatever your mode of transport, and join your friends! Franklin’s Promise will hand out streamers and balloons for everyone to decorate and placards for participants to display the name of a veteran they would like to honor. The parade travels down Avenue B, under the bridge at Battery Park, then down Water Street to Riverfront Park where everyone gathers for Apalachicola Main Street’s Independence Eve Fireworks Celebration.
