Where can I find maps and brochures?
Whether you’ve just arrived or are planning your visit, be sure to contact the Visitors Center located at 17 Avenue E in the heart of downtown Apalachicola for maps, brochures, guide books, and more. Phone: (850) 653-9419.
Also, look for the kiosks in three downtown locations that display maps and upcoming event posters.

The public restroom is located on Commerce Street, between The Grady Market and Dolce Vita at The Apalachicola Sponge Exchange
Is Downtown Apalachicola dog friendly?
Many of our local businesses are dog friendly—just ask! Dogs are welcome at most of our overnight accommodations, and are also allowed in outdoor dining areas. Stop by Oysterbones for all your pet care needs. When it’s time for a walk, try Battery Park, Riverfront Park, the Chapman Botanical Garden, or to the west of downtown, the Apalachicola Dog Park. Local ordinances do require your pet to be on a leash, and that you clean up after it.
